This is my web site. I have gotten some inquires from other Veneziales and this page is provided to find other
relatives and family information. This page also has some limited information below from other non-related Veneziales.
My grandmother Dorothy (maiden name Dorothy Sundstrom) was married to Luca “Sam” or “Mickey” Salvatore Veneziale
(1915-1984) and his siblings were Catherine, Loretta “Mike”, Mary, May, Lucy and Josephine. Dorothy and Luca had
Dolores Mary, Robert George, Frances Luca, Richard Frank and Barbara Mary.
I’m Robert William, the son of Robert George and I have a sister Renee Marie. My sister Renee is
a singer and the most famous Veneziale that I know. She was Eponine in Les Miserables (1st National Tour), Grizabella
in Cats (Road Tour) and a former member of the group “Boy Krazy" (Polydor/Polygram Records). When she was
about 12 yo, she sung “God Bless America” many times for the Philadelphia Flyers.
I am married to Laurie Ann (maiden name: Zindle) and we have two children, Michael and Gloria. We now live in Pike County, PA.

Great Grandparents
Carmine and Rosa Veneziale
|
My great grandfather’s name was Carmine and he had two brothers, John and Benny, and a sister, Catherine.
Carmine was married to Rosa (her maiden name was Rosa Monico). Benny
was married to Pauline and owned a chicken store in the Frankford area
on Orthodox Street. He also had lots of houses. My great grandfather,
Carmine, brought his two brothers over to this country from Italy.
Catherine and John arrived at Ellis Island in November 1907.
She married Dominic Donio and lived on Catherine Street in South
Philadelphia. Her loldest son was named Dominic and his son
is named Dominic.
Aunt Barb went to the Ellis Island site and there were 80 or more Veneziales that came over to America. My Great
Grandfather came over from Italy before 1915 when my Grandfather was born. We don't know where in Italy but my
Grandpop told Aunt Barb that our family was from a town 100 miles south of Rome. Veneziale is a common enough name.
There are many in Philadelphia and the Frankford area. When I was a Junior in High School, there was a Veneziale
in each grade and none of them were related to me. These Veneziale's were from another family (two brothers and
a sister) and they lived in a different hundrend block of my street. Imagine that!
